The Supply Chain Engineering department has a strong focus on optimally organizing the Supply Chain and ensuring product quality and delivery reliability. The majority of our products are developed by our Research & Development in close collaboration with development partners and are externally produced by our suppliers.

Between Rotterdam and The Hague, you find the greenhouse capital of the world: "Het Westland", where our campus is located in De Lier. A region with great economic impact to the Netherlands as the second food exporting country, right after the US. In these 100 square kilometers, Priva was founded in the fifties and is still a family business. How you add value

As a Supplier Quality Engineer, you are the technical point of contact for our suppliers, and your role comprises three main tasks.

Within product development trajectories, you work closely with Research and development, the purchasers, and your suppliers. You immerse yourself in the technical operation and structure of the new product and focus on Design-For-Manufacturing, logistic setup, and product packaging, and along with your colleagues, you organize the Supply Chain. A LEAN production and distribution process and the setup of the quality process are important components for you.

For implementing necessary product changes, you are the intermediary between the supplier and our R&D. These product changes can originate from the suppliers or our R&D and can be technical or functional in nature or stem from improving product quality. Furthermore, you oversee the impact on the setup of the Supply Chain and various quality controls. For phasing out a product within Life Cycle Management, you work closely with Logistics to efficiently reduce inventories and adjustments in our back office system.

To ensure product quality, you analyze data from our incoming goods process for new deliveries and from the return process of defective products from the market. You work closely with Customer Support and initiate and guide improvement processes at both R&D and suppliers. To ensure a well-functioning Supply Chain, you analyze reports and participate in audits based on the QLTC principle.

Job requirements

Who youare

We are looking for a self-starting, structured and communicative strong Supplier Quality Engineer. Furthermore, we will read your resume to find:

• Educational background in Mechanical Engineering;
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar role within a technical environment;
• Experience with technical administration within an ERP system;
• Fluent in Dutch and English. Currently living in the Netherlands.

• A gross salary based on your experience in the range of € 3.000,- and € 4.500,- based on 40 hours a week;
