Between Rotterdam and The Hague, you find the greenhouse capital of the world: "Het Westland", where our campus is located in De Lier. A region with great economic impact to the Netherlands as the second food exporting country, right after the US. In these 100 square kilometers, Priva was founded in the fifties and is still a family business. We emerged from our knowledge of climate control in glasshouses, but we expanded our knowledge to Building Automation.

You'll be tasked with developing innovative solutions to meet market demand, and translating customer needs into technical requirements. Providing support to the team by addressing challenging chemical questions from customers is another essential aspect of your role. Additionally, your responsibilities encompass conducting research and validations in measurement, techniques, and separation to ensure water quality.

Job requirements

Who you are
We are looking for an enthusiastic and communicative Process Engineer. Furthermore, we will read your resume to find:

• Minimum of a bachelor's degree, preferably in Chemical Engineering, Biosystems Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus;
• 3-5 years of experience in advisory or product development, preferably in the agriculture or chemical manufacturing sectors;
• Process-oriented thinking and experience translating theoretical knowledge into practical applications;
• Affinity with agriculture and basic knowledge of mechanical systems;
• Fluent in the Dutch and English language.

• A gross salary based on your experience in the range of € 4.000,- and € 5.500,- based on 40 hours a week;
• We find a healthy work-life balance important: flexible working hours combined with 30 vacation days a year and the option to buy more;
• 8% holiday allowance;
• Travel allowance of € 0,23/km with a daily maximum of 240 kilometers or fully reimbursed public transport costs;
